The Project
We support research into rare and uncommon tumours, particularly projects with clinical and translational applications.
We also promote science communication and disease prevention, making rigorous and accessible scientific information available to the wider public.
Inés de Pablo Llorens Research Grant
in collaboration with GETTHI

Since 2021, the Inés de Pablo Llorens Association has funded an annual research grant, launched in collaboration with GETTHI.
The grant is allocated in full to original research projects carried out in Spain, with priority given to translational research and its clinical application.
The calls have supported studies on pancreatic cancer, neuroblastoma, the exposome and early-onset colorectal cancer, as well as new diagnostic and treatment approaches for a rare sarcoma in young people.
Biomedical research and prevention
We use the funds raised to support research projects on rare and uncommon tumours because:
-
Understanding the mechanisms of cancer is the first step towards improving prevention, early diagnosis and treatment.
-
Supporting biomedical research and science communication helps turn advances in knowledge into real improvements for patients.

What we look for in a project
